Today's post is dedicated to the peoples of Draper and Orem Utah.
Congratulations
You now have the opportunity and blessing of dining on the fabulous burgers and fries of In 'N Out Burger.Know what to order on the secret menu after the jump.
The main menu of In 'N Out Burger is pretty straightforward. There are four categories:
- Burgers
- Fries
- Sodas
- Shakes
Sure, you can get a single or double double burger, or you can get yourself a chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry shake, but what about other crazy combinations?
Well you're in luck -- I'm about to let you in on the gloriousness of the Secret Menu.
BURGERS
- Hamburgers - "Double Meat" (Double Double) or "Triple Meat" (Triple Triple) for multiple patties.
- X by Y - Any number of X patties and Y slices of cheese. A change in policy recently has limited the amount of meat and cheese per burger to 4 each.
- Veggie Burger - a sandwich containing only vegetables, without meat or cheese.
- Grilled Cheese Sandwich - served with tomato, lettuce and spread (occasionally served on white bread). This one's for my brother Zach who doesn't eat Burgers.
- Extra Everything - adds extra spread, tomato, lettuce, and onions (regular or grilled).
- Extra Toast - bun is toasted longer.
- Grilled Onions - chopped up onions grilled to a nice caramel brown.
- Chopped Chilies - mild, pickled chopped peppers are added to the burger.
- Protein Style - replace buns with lettuce.
- Flying Dutchman - meat and cheese sans vegetables and bun.
- Animal Style - patties are grilled with mustard or "mustard fried", add pickles, add grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and extra spread.
CONDIMENTS
- Spread - packets of refrigerated "Spread", similar to Thousan Island Dressing.
- Yellow Peppers - packets of whole yellow chili peppers.
- Pickles - pickles do not come on the burger and can be added upon request.
- Fries "Light" - Decreased cooking time for a softer product.
- Fries "Well" - Increased cooking time for a crispier product.
- Fries "Extra-Well" - Further increased cooking time for a very crispy product.
- "Animal Style" - Melted cheese, spread, and grilled onions.
- Cheese fries - called "fries with cheese"
- Root Beer Float - get a vanilla shake, drink half, fill the rest with Root Beer. Or, get a drink and a shake, put half your shake in the cup then fill with Root Beer, drink - then repeat.
- "Lemon-Up" - a mixture of lemonade and 7 Up.
- "Tea-ade" - known as an "Arnold Palmer", a mixture of iced tea and lemonade.
- Neapolitan Shake (My personal favorite!) - Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry shake mixed.
- Vanilla-Chocolate Shake - Chocolate and Vanilla Shake swirled together.
- "Large" shake - larger sized cup for the shake.

I hear it's getting crazy up there, but I think it's worth it. The food is quite delicious for what it is. I hope everyone up there gets a chance to try it out.
Yum, I miss In-N-Out. Always got a cheeseburger animal style.
I want that so bad right now.
