Advice

Oh no... I don't have any. Well maybe I'll have some later about the entertainment business. But for now I'm talking about relationship advice.

My wife Tiffany is working with some others on a relationship advice blog. For now it's called The Relationship Coach and you can submit questions to be answered by a group of people that I admire for their honest and intelligent advice. It is 100% confidential.

I've always held the belief that Tiffany has a special gift for getting to know people and helping them explore themselves. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and she has always had a natural knack for getting to know people very quickly.

She doesn't pass judgment and she is very good at helping you understand your problems more clearly. She has helped me work out a great number of my own demons and she is just great to talk to.

I would suggest that you get onto their blog and see for yourself the type of questions that have been asked and the type of advice that they are doling out.

And, if you have a pressing question about some type of relationship in your life - feel free to email them. I know I will be.

Here is the website again:

The Winners!

That's right. I did.

Well... we did. Spencer and I.

We wrote our script SEVEN GLADIATORS in a matter of 27 short days. And both of us have full-time jobs. I'm sorry to gloat (especially after your post Jacob), but shoot - we're awesome.

Now understand - this is a first draft. So it pretty much is a piece of crap, but it's our crap and it smells like roses... sometimes.

Now we have the arduous task of going through it with a fine-toothed red pen and correct all the mistakes and incongruities that are inherent when writing the first "scratch" draft of a script.

Thanks to all that helped support us in our endeavors. Thanks to Tiffany and Marque who were able to bare our time monopolizing the computers to write this - what is sure to be a masterpiece of American motion picture literature.

Thank you to all you people who laughed at the pitch or some of the scenes that we described while writing. And thank you to all those that said "good job!" "nice!" and "so?" to our daily profession of page count.

And mostly, thanks to us for writing this great screenplay.

Script Frenzy!

Yay! It's Script Frenzy month!

For those of you who don't know - Script Frenzy is a website contest/event thing. You are challenged to write 100 pages of screenplay in just 30 short days.

I had the honor of participating last year with my script SWORD OF DESTINY. I wasn't able to finish the entire 100 pages last time and it has been a constant disappointment to me, even thought I eventually went on to finish and rewrite it several times.

This year they added a new fun feature ~ writing teams!

Since our collaboration on the recent script - THE GILLIAM EFFECT (in emails now -- let me know if you're interested to read), Spencer and I are going to write a script together for this year's event.

I don't have any specific details on what our script is going to be about, but I'll give you all a hint:

Okay, maybe that's way too vague. I'll post more info once we get the script under way.

Anywho, I encourage each and every one of you, even if you don't write, to bust out your most insane ideas and put them to work - sign up on Script Frenzy today!
