Synopsis
After a one night stand with a 22-year old, respected film critic for a local newspaper finds that she is now indeed pregnant.

Deciding to keep the baby, she informs the college-aged father who also comes on board, excited to become a dad.

They decide that it would be best if the young man stayed with her to help out until the baby is born, but this causes all sorts of complications since their lifestyles are going in completely different directions.
Review
The main characters of Billie and Zack (played by Jenna Elfman and Jon Foster) are unfortunately not the most interesting aspect of this show. In fact, if they were just side characters I would be quite alright with that.

What really shines in this show are the BFF's of both Billie and Zack. On the side of Billie - the cantancorous Scottish friend Olivia (played by Ashley Jensen) and the unwitting but sweet younger sister Abby (played by the brilliant Lennon Parham). On the side of Zack, we have a wonderful set of unknowns, best friend and super-dude Davis (played by the hilarious Nicolas Wright), and the always lingering Ryan (Pooch Hall) and Franklin (Andrew Caldwell).

Although I enjoy this show, I'm not unaware of it's flaws. The comedy can sometimes be sophomoric, but eventually the jokes can be biting and ingenious. The main problem I see with the show is that they continue to repeat the same storyline with Billie and Zack and it is getting old. Fast.

This is how each episode plays out: Billie has some hot date/is dating someone hot, Zack is jealous (even though he chases his own amount of tail), Zack and Davis do stupid things, Billie gets angry and says/does something regretable, Zack sees why he was wrong/Billie sees why she was wrong, they say they're sorry, they continue on living a platonic relationship with each other while their dating life remains open. Funny thing at the end with Davis saying/doing something hilarious.

I truly would like this show to continue on, but if only they could fix that one little problem of repeating storylines we would be savvy. Other than that - I recommend you take a look-see and enjoy the show that picked up where the fun "Dharma & Greg" left off.

I like this show. I think it's fun to watch. I also like that Jenna Elfman is really pregnant. It's cool that she's not having to hide a pregnancy or that she's not faking being pregnant. Just a fun show overall.
