Questionable Mysteries and Mysterious Questions

Lost
Synopsis
After their plane crashes into a tropical island, the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 struggle to find some way back home. As time passes they realize that they are not going to be rescued anytime soon so they must learn how to survive and live with one another on this mysterious island. But they soon find out that this island is a lot more dangerous than they could have anticipated...

You should already, or be trying to watch this series. It is that good.

Sure there are times that the show doesn't shine as well as it should There are storylines and characters that don't deserve to be there. But overall, this show is very engaging and exciting.

Recently, Tiffany and I have gone back to the beginning. Season One, Disc One. We are watching every single episode of Lost leading up to the premiere in January. (Everyone that is interested in watching with us is surely welcomed. We mostly watch on Wednesday nights and on Saturdays).

Another fun thing that we're doing is writing down every question that the show brings up and every character that has been introduced (then crossing the question off when it is explained and crossing off the character when they die).

From the first six episodes that we've viewed since starting, we have come up with some very interesting questions, some of which I don't think have been fully explained yet:
  • What is the monster that terrifies the castaways?
  • Why does it knock down trees?
  • How come Locke is no longer paralyzed?
  • What is his connection to the island?
  • How is it possible that Jack's dad is alive?
  • What happened to the burnt up fuselage that was on the beach?
Hopefully I will be able to post more questions as the weeks go on. Maybe, just maybe, we will be given the answers to all these questions during the final season.

One can only hope.

Summary
Current Season: Coming up on Season 7 - the final season!
Network: ABC
Airs: Usually Wednesday nights at 9 or 10pm
Verdict: Excellent, despite its rough patches.
